As a child growing up in the Midwest, fishing was a way of life for me. Whether it was casting a line in a nearby pond or spending hours on a boat out on the lake, I couldn't get enough of it. As I got older, my passion for fishing only grew stronger, and I began to realize that the right equipment was essential for success on the water.

That's why I founded Winkhart Lures – to provide high-quality, innovative fishing gear that helps anglers of all skill levels catch more fish. As an engineering student at the University of Akron, I'm constantly exploring new materials and manufacturing techniques to create lures that are both effective and durable. I also draw inspiration from my experiences on the water, constantly testing and refining my designs to ensure they meet the highest standards.
